Limestone Sinks Trail at Cedar’s of Lebanon State Park

Hike:

The Limestone Sinks Trail is an easy 0.4 mile trail. Throughout the trail there are so many places for children to play and explore. This is a great trail for preschoolers new to hiking and at the same time it is fun for older children and teenagers. The “sinks” part of the trail are actual sink holes.

This trail works especially well for a “play hike” where you can go at the speed the children want to play. In a “play hike” you aren’t walking for distance or speed, but for enjoyment and play.

Fun cave to play in!

There is an actual cave to play in!

There are lots of rocks to climb on and jump from.

Have an adventure climbing down in to the rockhouse. This works best climbing down and up with your belly toward the rock.

Location:

This easy trail is in Cedar’s of Lebanon State Park, North of Murfreesboro. If you put “Limestone Sinks Trail, Tennessee 37090” in your directions app, it should be able to get you to it.
